Steven Maccallum

Steven MacCallum is currently serving as a Sergeant and Supervisor of the Patrol Division for the Lewiston Police Department, where he has held a variety of positions over the last 25 years. After 2 years as a Campus Police Officer at Bentley College in Massachusetts, Steven was hired by Lewiston PD as a Patrol Officer, a position he held for 8 years, before being appointed as a Field Training Officer. 

In 1998, Steven was promoted to Detective. Steven's experience includes investigations of homicide, suicide, sexual assaults, robberies, as well as special assignments in Child Abuse, White Collar/Fraud, and Narcotics investigations. Steven was also appointed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Joint Terrorism Task Force and, among other cases, worked on the Boston Marathon bombing investigation. Through this work, Steven has been recognized by the FBI with Boston's Award of Excellence.

For the past 16 years, Steven has also served as an adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Andover College and Southern Maine Community College.

Steven holds a Bachelor's Degree from Curry College in Massachusetts, a Master's Degree from Boston University, and a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University.
